Senate intelligence committee met to discuss with Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, FBI director Kash Patel, Lieutenant General William J. Hartman Acting Commander, U.S. Cyber Command April 3, 2025, and Lieutenant General James H. Adams III to discuss the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) that was enacted in 1978 to give framework to Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court to establish eleven federal district court judges appointed by chief justice of the Supreme Court who alternate with the home district court.

All the way back in 2013 there was another hearing with Senator Wyden and the National Security Agency (NSA) questioning about a massive phone sweeping operation on U.S. cellular provider Verizon was center stage.

On October 28, 2025 there was also a hearing to bring back boat building in the United States.
